The Mother’s Day Out Discernment Assessment is a guided, ministry-first process that helps churches determine whether launching a Mother’s Day Out is wise, sustainable, and aligned with their calling right now.
Rather than reacting to pressure or copying what other churches are doing, this assessment creates space for clarity—examining real capacity, volunteer health, and discipleship intent before any decision is made. It does not assume a church should launch a program. It helps leaders discern faithfully, protect their people, and serve moms with integrity.
Assessment Includes:
Outcomes You Can Expect
Clear alignment on whether to launch, pilot, wait, or redirect
An honest view of staffing, facilities, and leadership capacity
Defined rhythms that protect volunteers from burnout
A discipleship posture rooted in trust, not programming
Shared language and confidence among pastoral and ministry leadership
